Hollywood Theatre Row is pleased to present Food Truck Saturday Nights.  Every week – we’ll have a different series of food trucks at different locations along Theatre Row from 7pm-10pm.  The location of the truck(s) will vary depending on the number of shows and expected audiences.

This week – we’re pleased to feature a new food truck on the scene –  Flavor Factory!  Flavor Factory Food Truck brings the taste of the islands to Hollywood Theatre Row for our Fringe Fest Kick Off weekend. Serving authentic Hawaiian style from loco moco angus burger to fresh ahi tuna poke bowl and teriyaki plates with their homemade teriyaki sauce –  just a few main staple dishes to get a taste of a true Aloha style meal that is original, fresh and flavorful. Vegetarian style plates available too, just ask!

Flavor Factory Food Truck can be found this weekend in front of Theatre Asylum located at 6320 Santa Monica Blvd., near the corner of Lillian Way (one block west of Vine St.).

Patrons to the theatres can come early to the show or stick around afterward to get some of the delicious food the trucks will be serving.  This is in addition to Eat This Cafe (which serves beer and wine and is your best bet if you’re looking to grab a drink before a show) which stays open until 8PM, and the Hudson Lobby Cafe, which is a great late night spot to grab coffee and a light bite.  The goal is to provide more options for audiences attending the various productions along Theatre Row.

This week – we’re pleased to feature Home Run Sliders!  Home Run Sliders is the latest food truck to hit the scene serving up gourmet sliders curbside. Chef Asunta is a Michelin trained chef – and that means she knows good food, that’s done right. Thoughtfully sourced, artfully prepared from all beef patties, pork, lamb and even a vegetarian option as well – this truck hits a home run every time!  And here’s the cool part – you can order their sliders online ahead of time.  Just go to mkt.com/homerun-sliders – place an order online, and pick up your order within 20 minutes!

This week’s food truck for Saturday 5/2 will be Go Fusion n Grill. With their own spin on popular street food from burritos, carne asada fries, tacos, quesadillas, burgers and hot dogs- you need to try the unique creations from Go Fusion n Grill. Using their own sauces to create flavorful Mexican, American and Asian food that’s both sweet, tangy and spicy you’ll love the fresh and inventive food from this truck! Perfect for a pre theater dinner snack or a late night bite some of the must try items include the carne asada fries and hot dogs! Don’t eat meat? They can serve it anyway you like if you’re a vegetarian, vegan or require gluten free options!

The truck can be found this weekend in the 6400 block of Santa Monica Blvd., in front of The Complex, near the corner of Wilcox Ave. (right by the valet stand).

This week – we feature The Hurricane Kitchen!  The Hurricane Kitchen is a chef-driven “eclectic gourmet” food truck, using only local, sustainable ingredients to create bold flavors and unique food experiences. All menu items are prepared fresh daily by Chef Richard Verhagen. They make some ridiculous sandwiches – pulled pork, duck confit, and a bleu cheese bison burger are just a few of the amazing creations they’ve come up with. They also serve rotating and seasonal specials – so be sure to check those out too.

You’ll have plenty of options from the traditional comforting wings and waffles, to the waffle chicken sandwich, to a soul wrap and on the lighter side turkey burger or even a salad! This week, meet the new kid in town to the streets of LA who’s bringing east cuisine to the west coast – Phillyfornia. Using only the highest quality rib-eye steak, thinly sliced and made from the heart with the same technique that you’d find only in Philadelphia, expect authentic and traditional cheese steaks, the way they’re supposed to be made and taste! Phillyfornia also offers sliders, melts and fries! When’s the next time you’ll be able to get real cheese wiz on a sandwich? Ooooh!

This week – we present Say Fish Taco!  Starting as a humble fish taco stand in Sayulita, Mexico to now the streets of Los Angeles, Say Fish Taco serves authentic and fresh fish tacos that features original fish taco creations with garlic, beer batter, topped with jocoque crema (secret/original sauce) in their signature handmade corn tortilla. Blending the traditional flavors from Sayulita with the diverse culture of Los Angeles offers an expansive menu that also includes mahi mahi, blackened salmon, carnitas crafted into a bowl, burrito, quesadilla and taco.
